Tip: Google Search a site

Google Search has built-in functionality for searching a site. Lets say you remember one of my past posts was aboutĀ goals. But, you are unable to find that post by browsing my site. Google is your friend. Lets say you are doing research about mobile advertising trends and need some data. You know that AdAge posts articles about mobile advertising. Again, Google is your friend.

To use Google to search in the situations above, simply add “site:” followed by the site you wish to search, to the search bar. i.e. “goals site:rogercreasy.com” (without the quotes) or “mobile advertising site:AdAge.com”

This trick is useful a time-saving. I hope you use it and find it helpful.
